Registration for 2021 has not opened. If the recommendations are to cancel the event, all registrations will be honoured and deferred until 2022. The deferral fee would be waived.

Is the event timed?
No, participants will not be timed. Epic Tour is not a race; having a great experience is way more important than logging a good time. However, if you'd like to time yourself, using Strava or a Garmin is a good idea!
Is there an age limit?
All riders under 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian. The legal guardian must be present to sign the waiver for their minor and must agree to accompany them during the ride.
Is there a refund policy?
All sales are final. Registered participants who are unable to participate due to unforeseen circumstances may apply to defer their participation to the 2020 Epictour event by contacting us at info@epictour.ca with email title "Epictour Deferral Request". Please include your order number or confirmation. Your request to defer must be submitted by August 31st 2020 and a $35 deferral fee will apply. The alternate option is to transfer to another participant. Please see info below.
Can I transfer my event entry to another rider?
Yes. Please contact info@epictour.ca with email title "Epic Tour Transfer Request". Please include your order number, your name, and the name and email of the person you would like to transfer to. All transfers will incur a $25 administration fee and must be submitted by August 31st, 2020.
Can I ride a shorter distance than the one for which I registered?
Yes. You can transfer down to a shorter distance without having to pay a transfer fee. On event day, simply go to the registration tent to swap your bike ID plate.
Can I ride a longer distance than the one for which I registered?
You can upgrade to a longer distance by contacting info@epictour.ca and paying the difference in registration fee online or on the day of the event at the registration tent. You will be asked to mail back your registration materials and we will forward you a new Bike I.D. plate to grant you access to the upgraded distance. During the event, riders registered for shorter distances will not be allowed in the start corrals for longer routes. This will be strictly monitored.
What types of bikes are allowed at Epictour?
We allow road, hybrid and electric bikes for all distances. Mountain bikes are also permitted but only for the 50km route distance. Time trial bikes are not encouraged but are allowed as long as you are careful.
Is a jersey included in the ticket price?
YES! Jerseys are included with the registration for ALL of the distances (except for the Youth Registration), from 50K to 180K until the applicable deadlines. Additional jerseys are also available for purchase as well. Please email info@epictour.ca. I'm unsure about my jersey size. What do I do?
If you are unsure about your jersey size, please contact update@epictour.ca and we will ship you a couple sample sizes. We strongly recommend that everyone stop to ensure they have the proper jersey fit. We will be unable to make any size changes to personalized jerseys. When will I get my jersey?
Registrations BY March 31st: Your personalized jersey will be ready by June. You will be emailed when your jersey is ready. You will either pick it up at at the bike shop location you indicated during registration, or if you paid for shipping, it will be mailed to you. Registrations BETWEEN April 1st - July 8th : Your jersey will be ready in Mid-August. You will be emailed when your jersey is ready. You will either pick it up at at location you indicated during registration. If you paid for shipping, it will be mailed to you.
Do all routes start and finish at the same location?
Yes, all routes start and finish Kelso Conservation Area, Milton ON but General Parking is at Country Heritage Park
Where is the start/finish line?
General Parking is at Country Heritage Park, right next door to the start and finish: Kelso Conservation Area.
Where do I park?
General Parking is at Country Heritage Park. For the safety of all participants and event staff, vehicular traffic will not be allowed at Country Heritage Park except for valid parking permit holders, pre-approved vendors and staff with specially authorized admission/parking passes.
Will there be restrooms at the start/finish and on the course?
Yes, there will be washrooms at the start line, the finish line, all rest stops and the festival area.
Does the event proceed if it is raining?
Yes, rain or shine unless the event is cancelled by the authorities due to severe weather that is judged to be hazardous to riders. There will be no refunds.
What if I need mechanical support?
Riders are expected to be prepared on course with at least an inner tube and pump. In the event of mechanical problems, assistance will be available at the start, the rest stops and the finish. Rest Stops will be equipped to fix flats and minor repairs or adjustments. If you’re not comfortable changing a tire, it might be a good idea to head down to your local bicycle dealer and they will gladly show you how it’s done. There will be mobile mechanics available for day-of emergency repairs only.
If I need medical assistance, what do I do?
Emergency Medical Services (EMS) will be available on the course and on-call. Police officers and bike mechanics will be traveling the course on motorcycles and in cars. Police officers will be controlling traffic at intersections and volunteers will be guiding athletes for turns at intersections. Each of these people will be armed with the EMS contact numbers. If you need help, inform someone on the course and they will get help to you (or someone else) as quickly as possible and stay with you until help arrives. No matter your location on the course, help will always be close at hand.
Will there be vegetarian and vegan options for the post-ride BBQ?
Yes! We will have both vegetarian and vegan options for the post-ride meals.
