Beginner Ride – Come explore a totally unintimidating course that will be beginner and kid friendly. Cruise some easier trails, and have a blast on 2 wheels!  Riders should have some basic mountain bike experience riding on grass and gravel. This will be our shortest route.  Guided rides will be available on this route.

Intermediate Ride – Looking for a little more challenge?  Our intermediate loop will mix in a little more challenge!  Visit some fun single track and experience a few of the hills that Kelso offers.  This is a great loop for the average biker who’s looking for a fun ride.  We would recommend some experience mountain biking on trails; you will encounter some rocks, roots and small trail features. This route will be considerably longer than the Beginner route, but will keep to green and blue trails.  Guided rides will be available on this route.

Advanced Ride – All the exciting stuff that Kelso has to offer! Our advanced ride will explore all the good stuff that puts Kelso on the map! Some of our signature single track, some good challenging climbs, and more fun than should be allowed on 2 wheels.  This route is recommended for riders with more extensive riding experience who have a fitness level to match.  This will be our longest route and there will be some optional lines for those looking to explore! Guided rides will not be available on this route.

Guided Rides – Guided rides are available on our Beginner and Intermediate routes.  Join on of Kelso’s PMBI certified bike instructors for a guided ride with some pointers to help build comfort and confidence!  Our Trail Guides will be happy to take younger riders out for a rip while parents explore other routes; they will also be happy to work with newer riders looking to build some confidence on intermediate terrain.‍‍‍  Guided rides will depart from and return to the Festival area. Times will be posted if you wish to join in!

The former Kelso MTB Fondo is now PwC Epic Tour Mountain Biking.  We're holding it the same day as Epic Tour and turning the combined event into the cycling celebration of the year.  In total, we're expecting well over 4,000 MTB and road bikers to descend on Kelso Quarry Park on Sunday September 10, 2017.

What makes the PwC Epic Mountain Bike event unique and special?

  • Not a race; it's a riding event on well-marked trails where you pick the type of riding you would like to do. Select from Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced ride options and we'll give you an experience that matches your riding skills.
  • The largest MTB party of the year with live music, free BBQ meal & a complimentary beer
  • 50+ festival exhibitors
  • Post-ride festival will be attended by 4,000 MTB and road riders
  • MTB equipment demos from some of the leading brands
